We started with a great location, the Hotel del Coronado, just over the bridge from San Diego Airport. Then, we put all three spring events together, so that you only need to make one trip to complete two, or even three, training events in the same week. The workshop runs from Tuesday noon until Wednesday noon, when the Spring Conference begins. When the conference concludes at noon on Friday, the half-day seminar begins.
The Spring Conference will be held on May 5-7, 2010. Entitled “Arbitration Is A-Changin’: Learn About New Reforms or Be Left Behind!,” the conference will emphasize change and industry-driven reforms directed at improving the process for insurance and reinsurance arbitration. The conference will include enhanced levels of participation for all attendees as well as a variety of focused workshops and networking opportunities. In addition, there will be photo/biography booklet identifying all attending arbitrators.

Guest rooms are available at a range of special group prices for various room types, starting at $270 per night, plus a $22 resort fee (covering many benefits). All group rates are displayed there. Dark boxes show dates of ARIAS-blocked rooms, however two days before and three days after may be reserved at group rates, if available. Rooms are on a first come, first served basis.

The conference runs from noon on Wednesday until noon on Friday. Plan to stay, at least, Wednesday and Thursday nights. A limited number of rooms are also being offered at the ARIAS rates for nights before and after the conference to accommodate the workshop and seminar.

Be sure to determine now whether you need a workshop or seminar for certification or renewal. Or think about whether you could use a workshop refresher or the additional seminar training.
