This year’s Arbitrator & Umpire Seminar will feature three sessions presented by experienced industry panels speaking on a wide range of practical issues animating reinsurance arbitrations.
Today’s panels will address:
- Questions of fundamental fairness and the authority of a panel
- Thorny issues with third-party subpoenas
- The role and value of dissenting opinions
Each panel will entertain Q&A and, time permitting, the faculty will take additional questions at the end of the seminar.
This seminar will be held virtually. Those who register to attend in-person are invited to join us at the hotel for a luncheon starting at 12pm ET.

Early Bird Registration Deadline: In order to qualify for an Early Bird registration fee, registration must be received by ARIAS·U.S. office by the Early Bird deadline of August October 18, 2021 and any check payments must postmarked by October 18th.
Cancellation and Substitution Policy
Cancellation Policy: Cancellation Policy: The cutoff date for a refund of the Seminar Registration fee is October 8, 2021. Anyone who cancels by October 8th will receive a refund, less a $100 administrative fee. Notification must be received in writing by email to email@example.com. Refund will be issued by credit card or check. Failure to cancel by October 8th will result in forfeiture of the entire registration fee.
Substitution Policy: Substitutions are permitted with written notice by October 26. Notification must be received in writing by email, fax, or postal mail. If the registration fee for the person substituting is higher than the range for the person for whom payment has already been substituted, payment will need to be provided to cover the difference before the substitution is complete.
ARIAS•U.S. Arbitrator Certification:
This workshop counts towards the ARIAS•U.S. Certified Arbitrator renewal requirements. If you are interested in initial certification, you may need to attend one or two seminars under Option C of the ARIAS•U.S. Certification application. Click here for more information.
ARIAS•U.S. is an accredited provider of New York State and PA Continuing Legal Education. 3 NY or PA CLE credits are available to those who attend this seminar; all credits are for areas of professional practice. Credits for IL are pending.
