Participants will explore the essential duties, ethical considerations, and procedural responsibilities unique to the role, with real-world examples and case-based discussions. The program will cover best practices for managing hearings, fostering fairness, handling evidentiary issues, and delivering clear, well-reasoned decisions. Whether you are new to umpiring or seeking to sharpen your skills, this session will provide the tools and confidence to serve effectively and uphold the integrity of the arbitration process.
AGENDA COMING SOON

The theme of this year’s Umpire Masterclass is: Food For Thought on Umpire Leadership – The Second Course
Come join your ARIAS colleagues as we continue the conversation from last year’s Umpire Masterclass. However, there is no need to have attended last year in order to fully participate in what we hope will be a robust dialogue on arbitration processes and current issues. The program will focus on new and renewed subjects relating to pre-process considerations, organizational meeting topics, managing a fair proceeding, and post hearing activity.
