Biography
Robert (Bob) Kuehn served for 19 years at Sirius America Insurance Company (formerly White Mountains Re America and Folksamerica) until 2022 as its President and General Counsel. During his time with the company Bob lead the U.S. based balance sheet entities on behalf of the international holding company. Bob is a thirty-year veteran of the (re)insurance industry with a deep understanding of P&C (re)insurance market practices, inclusive of underwriting processes, statutory financial accounting, enterprise risk management, claims, litigation and alternative dispute resolution. Bob had direct executive oversight of P&C lines of business, legal and claims services, compliance and the reinsurance contract wording department. Bob also served as chairperson of the Boards of Directors of the U.S. legal entities. Bob’s prior experience focused on reinsurance and insurance coverage and contractual matters as both advocate, negotiator and legal draftsperson. Bob is a former member of the Brokers Reinsurance Markets Association and the Reinsurance Association of America. Bob currently serves as the Global Head of Reinsurance Contracts for PartnerRe.
