Event Information

“History is a vast early warning system” — Norman Cousins (American political journalist)

On March 29, 2023, ARIAS-U.S. will host a half-day seminar at Choate’s Boston offices that will explore the past, current, and future expected evolution of re/insurance risk via three panel discussions: (1) weather perils, including California wildfires, Australian floods, and hurricanes; (2) public nuisance, with a focus on PFAS/AFFF, opioids, and lead paint; and (3) post-pandemic COVID issues with an emphasis on wording changes designed to meet this evolving peril and retrocessional collateral trapping.  A boxed lunch will be provided at 12:30 p.m., and the program will begin at 1:00 p.m. Est with cocktails to follow.
