Biography

Keith Kaplan is a senior executive blending a rich run-off, reinsurance, underwriting and risk management background with strong financial and legal acumen. Prior to Anselma Capital, his experience includes over 15 Years as a Run Off Executive and Chief Reinsurance Officer as well as significant experience as an Underwriting Officer and Risk Manager. Mr. Kaplan maintains C-level contacts at major run-off organizations, intermediaries, ceding companies and reinsurers. His background also includes creating and implementing start up business plans, litigation and claims management, sell side M&A, sell side of Insurance Linked Securities, and service on various corporate and non-profit Boards of Directors.

Mr. Kaplan received his undergraduate education at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania where he majored in Finance. He is an honors graduate of Temple University School of Law, and is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania. He holds the designations Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Risk Management (ARM), Associate in Reinsurance (ARe), Associate in Insurance Accounting and Finance (AIAF), Associate in Underwriting (AU) and Associate in Marine Insurance Management (AMIM).

Mr. Kaplan is an engaging public speaker who has guest lectured or presented at various universities, corporations and industry conferences.
